Brinkworth’s highly acclaimed true-crime series, Accused: Guilty or Innocent? which aired on A&E Network in the US between April and June 2020, has been recommissioned for two more seasons.
The first documentary of its kind on U.S. television, Accused: Guilty or Innocent? followed individuals accused of a serious crime all the way to the verdict. Offering viewers an intimate account of people mounting their defense and going through a trial, the series delivered incredibly strong viewing figures and positive viewer reaction.
