Having enjoyed a successful first series earlier this year on Channel 5, Police: Hour of Duty has been recommissioned in greater volume for 2021.
With the original 4 parter performing well above the slot average, the extended series will return to see Derbyshire’s police officers dealing with the wide variety of incidents that take place during policing’s ‘golden hour’ between 9 and 10pm.
Using innovative techniques and with crews stationed across the force, the series offers a high octane look at how officers must fight crime in all its forms, every hour, every day.
