The Association for International Broadcasting celebrates the world’s best factual output and global talent. We are delighted to announce that two of our productions have made the AIB awards shortlist – The Real Unforgotten and Thames Water: Inside the Crisis.
The Real Unforgotten, which has been shortlisted in the Domestic Affairs category, was reviewed by The Times as both ‘riveting’ and ‘captivating’, following its premiere on ITV1 and ITVX in February 2025.
Thames Water: Inside the Crisis, shortlisted for the Politics and Business category, was filmed for BBC2 over six tumultuous months and uses unparalleled access to tell the story of a British institution battling for survival. Across the company, from the boardroom to the frontline, the programmes capture the troubled utility’s attempts to fix everything from sewage spills to the multibillion-pound hole in its finances.
