Surgeons: A Matter of Life or Death has been awarded The Naomi Sargant Award, celebrating onscreen contributions to education, at the recent 2024 VLV Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting. The VLV awards team commended Surgeons for ‘telling the stories of remarkable life-saving operations at University Hospitals Birmingham’.
The award was accepted by CEO Malcolm Brinkworth, Channel 5 Commissioning Editor Guy Davies, and members of the production team.
